We have spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital here at IVYE WEAR, and we have compiled a list of our favorite things to bring when staying in the hospital.
Phone Charger
First on the list because it is so important. You do not want to run out of battery on your phone, because the hospital is boring. You need this to stay sane and post those hospital IG pics of you being sick and looking fly. Stay sharp, warriors.
iPad, Kindle, Laptop
When you are in the hospital it is a great time to catch up on all your homework for school or work for your job…but let’s be real this is the best time to binge your favorite shows that you’ve been dying to see so go crazy. You deserve it.
Blanket & Pillow
Your own blanket and pillow will do wonders for your mood and comfortability as well as make you look like a seasoned pro when it comes to hospital stays…which let’s admit…you are.
Toiletries (Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant)
No one likes morning breath, and most times the toothbrush the hospital has is flimsy and inadequate at fully cleaning your teeth. We like to bring our own toiletries, so we don’t ripen in the hospital to a pungent aroma…trust us, most of us have been there at one point or another.
Books & Magazines
This was high on everybody’s list, but some argued that books and magazines were covered in the iPad and Kindle mention above but we love to get away from the screen and dive in to a good book. There is just something to the feel of paper.
Ivye Wear
And while we are certainly biased we always bring our IVYE WEAR to help stay warm, remain fashionable, and be accessible for most treatments and procedures. We got tired of being cold and feeling like a pin-cushion and designed something in the trenches of chronic illness and we hope to improve the lives of all chronic illness patients, everywhere.
This is our list. Is there something you bring that you think we should add? Tag us @IvyeWear
